Janine Whitelaw

Janine Whitelaw is a full time professional artist based in Whangarei, Northland. She has been successfully exhibiting her work for the past 14 years. Her work is constructed into series as she continually explores various themes and compositions allowing her to continue the creative journey from an original concept. Many of her works are inspired by the natural beauty found in Aotearoa but being such a highly visual person she is also influenced by colour patterns , interior decor and design trends that she sees around her. Forever on a constant journey of creativity and discovery her work , which is often multi media on canvas or board, allows her to continually change and be inspired. Her work is left to the viewer to find their own interpretation and emotional connection to the works.
