John Phillips

John Phillips is a senior artisan well known for large art pots and distinctive bird sculptures. Over the years he has become expert in the creative uses of fiberclay a medium which is similar to GRC a material chosen in construction for its thin section toughness. Because of this know-how a lot of his work is turning customer inspirations into reality. You can see in his art influences of geology, earthy colours and textures. Recently he has been using his techniques to create wall pieces that are sculptural.
