Lyndy has a diverse range of styles but the strong use of colours is constant. Relying on instinct and intuition, paintings often evolve layer by layer. Bold gestural movements are always counteracted by the need to put things in order. Art and creativity has always been a passion, painting in particular. Although mostly self taught in 2003 Lyndy was awarded an Arts Waikato scholarship which enabled her to complete a diploma in Art and Creativity at the Learning Connexion in Wellington. Lyndy lives in the small town of Ngaruawahia and is of Tainui descent. She is represented by the Little Gallery in Tairua and Whangamata, Heritage gallery in Cambridge and Art Matakana.
