Julie Freeman

Julie is a self taught artist and over the years has developed her skills especially in the medium of pastels. Her style is photo realistic. She is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Artists of New Zealand ( MPANZ ), and a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America PSA . She has had much success with national and international awards. Her artwork is in private collections in the UK, USA, and NZ

Julie is currently creating work with the intent of realism beyond the photograph. She uses her own reference photos and her subject matter is varied, from coastal and nautical to the natural fauna and flora of NZ.

Currently Julie is teaching workshops on request and offers private tuition from her studio.
